About Our Horses
Our core herd of horses are raised and trained by Mauricio Inostroza, owner and guide. He uses a blend of traditional Patagonian gaucho training techniques and modern gentle horsmanship. We own 2 beautiful mares that have foaled 3 of our best horses. These horses are strong, athletic, reliable, and beautiful. They are descendants of Patagonian horses as well as the Spanish Criollo breed.
Chingalito
Nicknamed 'El Tractor', Chingalito is our strongest mountain horse. His strength and his obedient personality are equally reliable. Consuelo is the mare that foaled Chingalito.
Consuelo
Consuelo is a beautiful black mare. She foaled Chingalito and Talero. She is a solid mountain horse as well as a reliable work horse. We hope that she will be having her 4th foal in the March 2011.
Talero
Talero is one of Consuelo's colts. His is reliable and athletic. He is Rachel's personal riding horse.
Chezpita
Chezpita is our most reliable horse. He is a gentle ride and has been traveling around the mountains and pampas of Patagonia for nearly 2 decades.
